I uncovered some old photo albums that I had put away some 20 years ago. Remember those kind that you peeled off the plastic cover and placed the photo on a sticky sheet? Now I can't get the pictures off the sticky sheet. I really want to save alot of of these pictures as some of them are old family photo's and of our wedding. Can anyone advise me on how to save them?? TIA.

All is not lost! Get a product called "Un-Do" and follow the instructions. You can find it a local scrapbook stores, Michael's, or search for it on-line. If you email me I'll give you some more ideas, too.

I've never tried it, but I've also heard to run a piece of waxed dental floss between the picture and the paper.

If the photos are REALLY stuck - try heating them up with a hair dryer on a low setting. Sometimes that will loosen the "goo" on the pages and let you scrape the picture off without too much damage. Many of those old pages had loads of acid in the adheasive, so get those pictures out as soon as possible.

68 cent thin plastic putty knife from the hardware store works nicely.
