| The "Close to My Heart" company (formerly DOTS) makes a wonderful leather scrapbook (around $50) and sells extra page protectors and extender posts to go with it (so you can make the album bigger). THE MOST IMPORTANT PART of choosing a scrapbook (to me) is the type of pages. I like the loose-leaf style with page protectors where you can change the order of the pages better than the "strap" style (which appears to commit you to the order the pages are in). SECOND MOST IMPORTANT PART of a scrapbook is finding a brand where you're sure you can get a future supply of "stuff". For example, my "Close To My Heart" page protectors will not fit in a Mrs. Grossman album... so I'll always be ordering CTMH supplies so they're always interchangeable. THIRD MOST IMPORTANT PART of a scrapbook is size. I prefer the 12x12 pages (rather than 8.5x11) so I can fit more photos on a page. Hope this helps! Julie in Michigan |
