mimidi, cotton lint should be used instead of lint from polyester as the polyester hold moisture. The cotton lint will breath and dry if it gets wet. Also dog and cat fur can be used as well as people hair and cotton threads. Put the nesting material inside a suet cage or one of those mesh onion bags and all the birds not just hummer will pick at it. Penny

Very late to this party but since this thread has been resurrected, it might be helpful to offer some clarifications. Color intensity in bigleaf hydrangeas is almost exclusively due to genetics. Some cultivars just produce paler, lighter colored flowerheads and that will not change due to soil chemistry. Light exposure can have some bearing but generally only to fade or washout the coloring. Both ES The Original and Penny Mac are pale colored. You will never achieve a rich dark blue color with either despite soil conditions, as it is just not in their genetics. OTOH, cultivars like Mathilda Gutges or Enziandom have very intense coloring and will produce very deeply blue flowers in appropriate soil chemistry. And size is relative :-) I have seen 8' tall ES hydrangeas in my area but then dieback due to cold winters is pretty much unheard of here! There is no set magic number at which point a plant stops growing. If it continues to live it will continue to grow, barring pruning or cold damage.

Technically, the correct way is to caulk where the walls meet the shower floor. It's not really necessary, though, being that the shower floor is completely isolated from the floor structure by the pan membrane, and therefore, you shouldn't have any movement at that joint. You also might check once you can get in there to see if he just used the same caulking all the way throughout. I could see your concern if BOTH tubes were unopenned. But I can't see him caulking one place and not the other, if he knew that was what you wanted. He might not have realised there was a difference between the two tubes.

Still searching for a TV console I saw one on nextag that was the right size etc. but wasn't sure if its cherry matched my cherry(coffee table, two end tables). Since there is so much variation in cherry I was contemplating just getting the console in black but the didn't have one. So then I click into JC Penny and lo and behold there is the same exact console (pulls and everthing) but they offer it in espresso. 1) Anyone know anything about Powell (I saw no tv consoles on their website) and how JC Penny would have the same thing? 2) JC Penny's picture of espresso may not be what I was looking for - it looked more like a thin black stain where you still see wood) and i wanted a flat black.
