Large scrapbooks

I'm in the daunting process of sorting family photos from the late 1890s up to today. I have all of my Grandmother's sepia and black and whites photos and I've begun sorting out each family branch as each of the daughters married in the early '50s.

I need a LARGE scrapbook. I have far too many photos and family groups to put only 3-4 photos on a standard 12x12 page. I know CM has 12x15 books. I was going to put all of Grandma's photos in one of them. I'm more concerned with getting the photos somewhere safe and flat than with being artsy with them. I do want to have space to add the names and dates that I do know.

Does anyone have a source for good, acid free, large scrapbooks? I'd need one that offers refill pages and has page protectors, too.

Thanks!

Check out the link below. I have dealt with this company for about 24 years. They were protecting photos before it was popular. I have all my pictures in their heavy duty albums. I'm sure I have seen the really large scrapbook albums there.

Here is a link that might be useful: albums

I just looked at a sample wallpaper book sitting on the table and thought that if every other page was cut out it would make a great scrapbook, especially if one wanted to same programs, newspaper clippings etc. What do you think?

It sounds like a good idea, but test it first to see if it is acid free. I'm not sure if the wallpaper book would be acid free, which means your photos and clippings might end up being damaged.
