How would you preserve....

....old magazines that have articles in them that need to be kept?

I've amassed a collection of 35 and 40 year old magazines with articles about people I admire. Right now these mags are just in one pile, but they need to be kept from rotting out.

I really don't want to take the magazines apart to keep just the articles, as there are several magazines that have more than one spread that I want to keep.

I also have a TV Guide whose cover has been autographed by several. (It's the cast of The Bob Newhart Show from the 70s, which is signed by Bill Daily, Marcia Wallace, Jack Riley and Peter Bonerz.) I'd like to DISPLAY that one, maybe in a shadowbox of some sort???? Any ideas here?

Thanks,

DonnaR/CA (a newbie scrapbooker, too)

How about using the resealable polypropylene bags? Or FoodSaver? Just a thought here if you want to seal them from dirt, etc.

Here is a link that might be useful: Bags Unlimited
