Hi all! Tikanis, yes, I started back yesterday, and will go until the first week of August. I've got an anatomy class and a psych class this time. The anatomy class is going to be hard, but cool. We're dissecting a bunch of stuff, and then we're traveling to a local medical school to observe an autopsy. (I think I'll bring a bib, and a knife and fork to mess with our prof before we go. Maybe a bottle of hot sauce as well! LOLOL!) The psych class is in an area that is under going renovations, and we don't have AC, and it.is.miserable. And, it was only 83 yesterday. We have a box fan going, but that makes it hard to hear him. I recorded the lecture, but all I can hear is an occassional words or two, and the droning of the fan. Ahh, well. :) Good luck on the survey; I've been worked on one before, and it was sooo stressful. And how cool to be that close to sea lions! Suzanne, gosh,you're got your plate full! I'd love to follow you around for a week, and see SP and the clucking girls! :) Deemarie, the wedding sounds like it was lovely! I'm very glad that things went wonderfully. :) Ivamae, I agree. Hi, I see that it's been a little while since you posted this, but I wanted to share the info I have in case you still need it. I discovered Creative Memories Digital Scrapping software around 6 months ago and haven't looked back. I packed up all my traditional stuff, (and I had lots and lots of it...) and I'm now trying to decide who to give it to. Creative Memories is great, I had tried scrapping with Adobe Photoshop Elements since I already used it to manipulate my photos, but I could never get the hang of it, (I've since discovered that many other people say the same thing, you have to have a good working knowledge of it to scrap with it.) CM does all the major things that PSE does, you can lasso an area and turn a photo into sepia or b/w while leaving that one spot in color just for one example. There are bunches of free paper collections that you can download, along with a free version of the scrapping software, Storybook Creator. The free version is very limited in what it will do though, you can basically only use it to drag and drop photos into all the pre-designed pages available. It's not terribly expensive, and if you buy the beginners collection you get a 39.95 coupon toward a storybook, (an 8x8 is around 40.00.) With it you also get a large kit of paper/embellishments/overlays, (which you can fill with color, gradients, paper, etc.)/and word art. You can do things like change the look of a piece of paper or embellishment simply by changing the hue or color of it. You can change it to match your photos or just to get several different looks from the same paper or embellishment. CM collections that are available to purchase, (in addition to the free ones) are very inexpensive. They range from 3.95 to 9.95 for a very large collection. There are also freebies added daily to my website that you can download, or you can use products that are not CM although I rarely need to because they have so much to choose from. I know some people like to use the freebies you find online though and most of those are compatible with it. I was so impressed with the company that I signed up as a consultant a few weeks ago and I'm loving it. I have a Facebook group called Tamela's Scrapbooking Divas where you can check out some of my work along with a few other people who have posted there. The software is extrememly user friendly and what I do is teach people how to use it, in addition to the free web claasses that CM offers covering beginning to advanced techniques. Hi, I've been looking at Scrapbooking software. I've discovered that any pictures I save on CD can be played in my DVD player AND they play as a slide show. It's so cool! My aunt and uncle recently had their 50th wedding anniversary party and I took my digital camera and captured shots of everyone. My 70 something year old uncle is a computer nerd and he loves anything computer related. So I bought "Hallmark Scrapbook Studio" software and thought this winter, I'd take all those anniversary pictures and build him a scrapbook on CD. He and my aunt will just love it. My uncle is big-time into geneology and this will fit right in with that, I think. I really wanted "Scrapbooking Workshop" or whatever it's called. It's about $40, but the stores here aren't carrying it at the moment. So I'll work with this Scrapbook Studio and see how I like it. I've run across several sites that talk about scrapbooking on the pc. Just do a search and you'll find something. Good luck! NancyAnn

Thanks....I have read over these so many times and found none also...BUT I thought i did good on the first 5 and still there were a few errors! Lydia, I get the book made through shutterfly.com or snapfish.com. I've used them both and they are good quality. The prices vary depending on the size of the book. The standard book is 20 pages but you can ad more for more$$. I wait until they have specials or I have a coupon code to use. Right now snapfish is 20% off until October 1st...the coupon code is BOOK20. The price with the discount for this book I'm doing is 15.99 with the coupon and it's an 8x11.
