pocket watch bodies

| This is not necessarily related to scrap booking, but I'm hopeful some of you might also make collages and jewelry.
I am on the search for empty pocket watch bodies for small collaged pendants. A few years ago I bought them on line, and they were carried at a couple of web stores. Can't locate any now. Anyone have a source?
I am not looking for vintage pocket watches. I'm looking for actual empty cases - no faces or workings. Used to get them for about $6.00 each in chrome and aged brass finish.

I have been scouring all the thrift stores for these.
I buy the ones that no longer work then remove the workings.
If you find a source that sell the empty cases cheaper than $5 apiece please let me know.
There is a store in Ohio that is also searching for the empty cases since the company in China that made them closed down. |
