Need your creativity to help with school yearbook

Posted by bizzybee (My Page) on

Hi everyone! I'm new here and have done some scrapbooking however my current project is to put together a 28 page elementary school yearbook which gets sent off to a publisher to be printed out in quantity for families to purchase.

It occured to me recently that many of the same ideas of layouts, etc. that I read about here (I've been lurking) could apply to what I need to do.

Would appreciate some ideas for sources of school poetry, sayings or maybe even more importantly a "Theme" to tie all the ideas together. Have seen a "Traveling through the school year" theme with lots of passport, postcard, stamps, etc. but need some NEW ideas. Thanks!

I work at a photography studio and we make these all the time, although we do them completely digital with Adobe Photoshop. I can't remember the little "school sayings" that we use right off the top of my head, but try "Two Peas" under the "Pea Soup" section. You can get titles, quotes, poems, song lyrics etc. I'll post the link here:

Here is a link that might be useful: Two Peas in a Bucket

For my final in my Yearbook class, my class has been assigned to do a ten page yearbook about ourselves. And so we can choose between putting it together by hand (scrap-booking, etc) or by using Adobe ID. I NEED your help. Finals are due in three weeks! Thank you.
Sincerely,
Keisha
