| ok i have write and essay on "should writing be a punishment"
i cant flat out answer the question.. i have to think about all possible answers. basically, i have to look from the aspect of a teacher, student, and a writer. how could this have many complexities.. |

| OK Andi, I'm guessing that you're writing this as a punishment. Don't overthink it and just do your best, and try to avoid situations which require this sort of consequence. |

| Just my view on writing as a punishment. I can't imagine a more effective way to turn students off to an activity that's already challenging to get some folks to do. Would we make kids read as a punishment? Punishments should serve as deterrents to undesirable behaviors. Natural consequences to negative acts make much more sense. |
