If you have a child who have a problem outling something he has just studied and have to speak before the class the following day, can you give some tips on how to speak from an outline or just speak in general about something he has just read?

RE: Problem outlining

I think the word OUTLINE just scares some students. So I use the word LIST of ideas to be discussed. Have him memorize an interesting opening sentence and closing sentence too. That will help him start and end strong.

I use this site - very easy to understand and very clear directions.

Here is a link that might be useful: Creating an outline for a speech
