Has anyone tried Beestar or another free education supplement?

Has anyone tried Beestar or another free education supplement?

Do they like it? And was it effective? Is there anything else I should know? What happens if they fall behind? Is it worth the time/trouble? What are the good/bad things about it?

Are there other available free sources?

Thanks so much!

I found this one, but I'm not sure if it's for self-study and a lot of it seems for older kids.
There's not really anything on basic math, though.

Is this one OK for self-study? Although a lot of it is advanced, most of it seems interesting enough to try.

Here is a link that might be useful: Federal Resources for Educational Excellence.

I learned beestar from my friends last semester and my DD has been used it since then, and she loves to compete on this site with other kids from a lot of other states. It¡¯s very interesting, especially the math programs. It really improves DD¡¯s interest in math greatly.

Hi, we are also using Beestar. James has been doing the free math for more than a year, and started the GTM and Science from this semester. I think it's not hard for a 7 yo boy. His name often appears on the honor roll, and he has been more proud of himself. And we are proud of him.
