Unfortunately my sudden refusal to shutdown, seems to be quite regular. I click "Turn Off From the Start Menu" We get to the windows is now (closing)shutting down screen, the jingle plays...and we are not on nor off. Its Microsoft limbo hell. Mouse control has shut down. Can I delete .Net Framework 2.2 without hell to pay? My gut feeling is my problems are stemming from .net or the Merc board. The Merc board once shut down my Morrowind game and cancelled the tilde key assignment. Even Bethesda Softworks said there was nothing I could do. Ideazon support told me to upgrade my all keyboard drivers to hid, and that (unknowingly) knocked out the PS2 keyboard drivers used by the laser mouse assignments...it wasn't until I redownloaded the laser mouse drivers, did everything start to work. I can now cheat on my game to my hearts' content. (The tilde key brings up a game console where dirty little cheaters, like me, can enter codes to cheat.) This driver install and uninstall freeze with this crappy keyboard, that I'm stuck with to save money, is going to break me. It might have caused some problems. I had to reboot my computer from the default settings in bios. Although there was a warning on the Microsoft update site about one of .net updates rendering some computers unresponsive? Well! gee. I CANNOT DO A SYSTEM RESTORE! I tried a few different restore points...and honest to Pete!...I got this message saying the system hadn't changed so they weren't going to bother, there wasn't any point!? I mean, I never!!! What the????

Hi Vique I have version 7 and 8. I love version 7. 8 seems a lot slower to load and doesn't seem as friendly BUT maybe if I played with it more I'd change my mind. It does have some great new features like tha automatic photo enhance and warp tool that's lacking in 7. The great thing about PSP is the amount of FREE help online and the availability of plugins, tubes etc. There's a tutorial for everything you could imagine and the help files are brilliant - one of the rare programs where "help" is actually helpful :) I've never seen version 9 so can't comment. Here's a couple of links to download the trial versions (30 day fully functional) of version 7 and 9. Sorry I couldn't find a site that had version 8 for free. Maybe if you had a play with them it would help you decide. Joy, I have a site at msn that I opened to store pictures. It's actually a group, but I just use it to store pictures that I want to post on the web. I have 19 tags or graphics posted there. Today I deleted the picture above so it would no longer show up on the site. Using the file detection tool, and checking under My Pictures.....the above picture is no longer there. I cannot access the picture because it is no longer on msn. I've deleted tags before and they simply stop showing up on Graphics and Scanning. Don't know what happened this time, or why it won't go away - I have no way of changing the name when it isn't there any more. Always problems! - Elaine

After seeing your offer, I went back to the tutorial - read it carefully to make sure I had the right one, and sure enough - I was supposed to look for it under the name of "Distort"....and it was where it should have been. I put it in the Toadie folder and was looking there of course...so looked under the regular plugins and there it was! Arrrrgh - I can be sooo dense sometimes.
