Thanks! I think you are correct with the long tipped one pic #2. The only plant I could find to match was a Ferobergia hybrid. I'm much happier that it is Mammillaria longimamma. I didn't even guess a Mammillaria species. Hope I get a big yellow flower to confim the plant. The first one... I don't know. Has fewer, thicker spines than a "Red Headed Irishman". "Red Headed Irishman" seems softer and fuzzier to me. The red spines don't appear to be hooked. Doesn't seem to get white on top. No sign of flowers to help ID. Mammillaria supraflumen seems kinda close but not quite right. I didn't want to start too many ID threads because it seems to annoy some and buries the social threads.

Your children are beautiful. I've been following your posts as of late and have tried to sit on my fingers, but can't any longer. Stacy, it's really not a great idea to post pictures of your kids and posts that contain your last name (saw it in another thread), along with the story of your brother, who you have accused of sexual/possible sexual abuse. It's a very small world and all this info you are sharing scares me...for you and your family.
