rotating in psp

I was trying a tut and you put a star shape on layer one, duplicate it and then rotate the second layer free to the right 45Â°. I tried it in both psp 7 & 8 and that sucker would only move a smidgen, certainly not 45Â°. I had to use the deformation thingy to do it. Anyone have any ideas why it would turn right?

Judy,
It may have rotated but matched up with it to where you couldn't see that it moved?
Try and rotate it to the right at 35 or 40 to see?
That's just a guess on my part as to what may have happened.
Do you have a copy of that star to post here for me to see and try to rotate?

Urlee- it doesn't matter what I set the number to this is all it moves.

They are in a corner of the front garden - between the foundation and stairs. I like my bulbs in the back of the garden since the sprouting summer perennials hide the dieing browning spring bulb foliage. I had wondered about a sun and water issue, but the hyacinths right in front of them are very happy. I'll dig them up and move them down by the pond. And hopefully I'll get flowers next year. I just hate to go thru the effort if the things will never bloom. Persimmons - dtd is right, the optimal time is once the foliage has died back. But I usually move mine as soon as they are done flowering when it is fresh in my mind. By the time the foliage has died back I've forgotten that I want to move the bulbs! (I've even been known to move bulbs in full bloom - like when you get the random red tulip blooming in your white garden!)

I'm for whatever logo all you ladies decide on. They are all just wonderful so it truly is tough to pick just one that I really like best.I think the lineup of ladies fanny's with the green or red lettering is a really good. It just feels...us...to me, I guess. Although I couldn't say their attire is what I wore last to go to the nursery and buy plants (HA HA HA) but the pic feels fitting to me. The logo, where do we go to link to it(get the url) or is someone emailing it to everyone so we all are aware of the place it's stored at for linking purposes. I think it would be easiest to have it stored at a reputable photo place and then just email the url link to all members so we can place it in our thread start up for each month when we are the hostess. YES! Elaine, That is exactly what happened to me with PSPX when I first got it so I uninstalled it and went back to PSP8. Then I reinstalled it and it worked fine BUT------------------- Now I found out something is wrong with the ROTATE feature! When I have all layers hidden, and one highlighted to be rotated, they ALL ROTATE! I am in the process of e-mailing Corel about it. ~Urlee!

Mine rotates it whatever I choose.

I had to use the deformation thing to do it. I rebooted thinking my memory might be low but nothing seemed to help. Weird.

Judy, on the Free Rotate window be sure to....

Disabled: "All layers" .
Enable: "Rotate single layer around canvas center"

Joy- I had already tried that and it turns out the same as in the picture I posted above. I did try it with one of the star shapes that had five points and it rotated that one but it is off center. Something is weird!

Judy I think it's a PSP thing. I had to rotate it twice to get it to look right.
