Changing exterior look of home

Posted by Rita_in_Chicago (My Page) on Mon, Nov 28, 05 at 9:11
My son and daughter-in-law recently purchased this home.
There are 3 other homes on the block with the same exterior look. Any suggestions to make their home stand out from the rest? IE.. Altering the exterior.. shutters and/or roof? Thanks, Rita |

LOL Well PSP doesn't do that for me! I think skill plays a BIG part in your creativity. Great work Urlee Sue :) |

That is so neat Urlee. I can't believe you did that in PSP. What version did you use? There is so much to learn with this program. |

Wow, Urlee. You are so talented. How'd you do that? Teri |

Urlee - you better 'fess up.....I think you have a version that the rest of us don't have! You are just too talented. I think I'll send you my house to do (in fact I want the labor done too, not just the design) are you up for it? Elaine |

"LOL" You guys are hilarious. "I mixed all the versions together" with a pinch of salt! I used version 8 but it can be done with any of the versions. Must I give away ALL my secrets? Then I can't surprise you anymore? That reminds me of when I used to clean house for this one lady who raved about how clean I got the toilets, sinks, etc. and what did I use? After I told her, she didn't need me anymore. ~Urlee~ |

LOL wanna share that cleaning tip. I need YOU but can't afford the airfare for a cleaning lady :) Sue. |

Sue, My must haves are: Soft scrub w/Bleach(green label), Tilex (the mildew one), liquid LimeAway, And what they don't make anymore is the Lysol liquid toilet bowl cleaner. They make it, but thicker now and no good compared to the years ago one. My secret to getting the stain off the toilet bowl is emery cloth like a fine sandpaper but don't rub the porcelin off. Have to be careful on using them strong cleaners now! Happy cleaning! :) ~Urlee~ |

Forgot to mention------- One thing I ALWAYS did was to flush the toilet a few times when done PLUS close the lid so no dog or cat licks the water for a drink. I am very funny that way as I don't trust animals around strong cleaners . ~Urlee~ |

| Happy cleaning? Happy cleaning?.........well I'm happiest when it is done. No animals here so I don't have to worry about that anymore. I'm going to check the toilet bowl now. Elaine |

Anything good in it Elaine? Did you bring the cool whip? "LOL" This little boy who asked his mother who did a lot of baking, "Ma, can I lick the bowl"? She said, "Shut up and flush it"! ~Urlee~ |

LOLOLOLOL Love the bowl story :) I'll look for those cleaning products next shopping day although none sound familiar. At the moment I use gumption for just about everything (cleaning paste) & Ajax. HUGS Sue :) |
