Hi Guys, Sorry i haven't posted lately... I have been out of town and been pretty busy.. So sorry that im late to anwser any questions!! Dave.. Desert Sunrise has been a great Plumeria and i love the lasting inflos and the fragrnce is very strong. I am so bad at describing the scent, but it is sweeet to me and i can smell it when i open the door to go on my deck... Lynnn, J-105 doesn't have much of a scent to me, but i love the color and the shape of the blooms.. Desert Sunrise is the one with the fragrance.. it is one to have!!! Hi Mona.. Savannah gets lots of smooches right on the end of her cute little nose. My son wants to keep her a hunting dog, but she still likes to be a "lady" and have a bloom in her ear at times!!! : ) Dave.. My Miami Rose is still holding onto those huge clusters of blooms.. I have never seem a tree to keep them as long. The Desert Sunrise has done the same. Psycho has been a cluster too! Psycho just smmells like a sweet frarance.. Miami Rose.. Coconut oil.. SUntan lotion J-105 not much of a scent to me.. Divie. small hint of a sweet scent California Sunset.. sweeet fragrance to me as well LOL.. I feel like Bill describing scents.. He and i have the samme sniffers.. LOL I have a hard time smelling the different scents except for the strong ones.. (DS) Psycho... Metallica had the great fragrance of Grape Koolaid My Saigon Moon is pushing an inflo and Kimi Moragne is too as well as Hilo Beauty!! Ill post some pics when they open... Laura

I put the white border on yesterday and like it. I have to tell you, I'm glad this one is over.....well, almost over. :-) Marge, There are a lot of tutorials out there, but I like Quiltville's the best to help get you started. No paper-piecing, just go for it! It feels strange at first, but then it grabs you and won't let go.....you're hooked! I make mine 6 1/2" unfinished, but you can make them any size you want. I have my crumbs all separated into colors for this project, but now I want to throw them together again so they'll be ready for the next batch of blocks. I've gotten to where I don't keep anything less than an inch anymore, but it still pains me every time they get tossed. That Gwen sure started something in my life when she first posted about Crumbs. Yes, I'm doing a BOM, and they are sending me all the materials (which is really nice!!). I'd like to keep each month together, so I'm trying to figure out the best way so I don't get all confused (which can happen so easily!!). I got my patterns yesterday and printed the first one on the computer. It's taking some getting used to to get my brain to do the mirror thing with piecing. It isn't helping that my freezer paper won't stay stuck to my fabric long enough for me to sew anything! So, that is my project for the day, find a way to keep the pattern on the fabric. Robbi

I just take the cutting and plop it in a vial of water. Top with more water when it gets low. Wait a few weeks, you'll see roots. Transfer to soil and keep the soil consistently wet and give it plenty of light for the first week while it gets used to transitioning. Then water like a normal plant. Voila! You have a pretty good sized plant in about half the time it takes to grow BR's from seed. When you do trim them, don't throw away those cuttings! Put them in water, then once they've taken to soil, give to friends or bring them to your local plant swap. People love receiving them.
