Yeah George...Ray's booklet was one of the first pieces of written material that started me off too :) Peg, that is interesting. However, as I understood Ray's poor ranking for Alma, there wasn't an issue with flavor. While the presentation was only 30 minutes and I was having to write quickly to keep up I am quite positive I didn't misunderstand the Alma ranking. The reason I'm so sure about this is that Ray actually stopped and asked if anyone in this area had success with Alma. Two of us spoke up and reported very positively on Alma. That's when I think he made a comment about not getting enough figs from his tree(s) (rather than the fruit itself being inferior). So, I guess there isn't necessarily a contradiction after all.

I save all six pages as one file, so I don't upload them individually. It all goes together. I've always called the file "index.htm". I pasted the instructions below that I found. When I follow these directions, I get a box saying "cannot save 'index.htm'. The folder is marked as 'read only'." I checked the publisher file, and it is not marked "read only". The other day, when I first tried uploading after making the changes to the Publisher file, I didn't get that message, but I may have been doing something differently. I've found different instructions and tried all kinds of things. When I click on properties for the network ftp location, it says "This server does not support changing file permissions". When I right-click the files in the ftp location, and look at "properties", it says "does not support changing file permissions". The file in the ftp location that is called "index.htm" shows that it was last updated in June 2009, so I must have done something to a different ftp file the other day when some of the changes to the Publisher index.htm file uploaded. I'm so confused. Publish changes to your Web site Publishing updates to a Web site is slightly different from publishing a Web site for the first time. After you publish a Web site to a location on the Web or a network, a shortcut to the Web server or network server appears in My Network Places. In Windows Vista On the File menu, click Publish to the Web. In the Publish to the Web dialog box, in the navigation pane, click Computer. In the file list, double-click the shortcut to the folder on the Web server or network server where you published your Web site. Double-click the folder where you want to save the file. In the File name box, type the name of the file you are updating, and then click Save.

Removing the program then re-installing could indeed cure the issue if there are corrupt files. However you need to know where your own creations are stored. Most programs have the work saved in a sub folder inside the same folder as the program itself so you might want to use Windows Explorer and save all you work elsewhere for safety.

Be default, I use the Print Layout view. I tried changing the views, but the document ends up resetting the pager numbers no matter what view I use. Thank you.
