Compatability problem

| I have a NEC DVD burner with Nero OEM Suite. We recently took a trip to Italy and I made a DVD of the pictures I took there. The DVD works fine on the computer but when I try to play it in our Panasonic DVD player over the TV I get an incompatible disk message. I have the pictures on both a DVD-R and DVD+RW and I get the same message with each. What am I doing wrong?

Did you finalize it?
DVD's have to be finalized before they will play elseware.
