My harddrive crashed & I lost everything. I can't remember the name of the program I used to unzip both RAR files & zip files.
Can someone give me the name of a good program?
THANKS,
Dar

AlZip opens all compression formats.

Hi,
I have been using Winzip for 5 years now - it is supposed to be a 60 day evaluation version, but I still have it after all these years and use it all the time -
Sugar, if you have XP, there is a built in unzip feature!

Try Total Commander at the site below. Even if you have used the others mentioned in the past, try this, you won't be sorry. As a matter of fact, I'll bet you'll never use another file explorer type program again.

This software is available FOR FREE! There are two modes, paid and free. Both have every feature working. The only difference is that when you start the free version, you get a nag screen. Try it then buy it, it's worth every cent.

This is much, much more than a packer/unpacker.

Here is a link that might be useful: Total Commander
