I like to post images so you can see them here in the message rather than providing an outside link to the picture at another website. Here's how I do it from Mediafire, another file hosting site. 1. Post the picture to your favorite permanent location on the Internet 2. Open the picture in a different window and adjust to the size I want 3. Right-click in the picture and select Copy Image Location Then in my GardenWeb message, I use the HTML code for viewing an image. It looks like this <img src="yourURLhere"> The quotes are important - they belong there no matter what. Inside the quotes you paste your URL location. It will probably end with the extension .jpg. Thus when I type the following code into my message <img src="http://www.mediafire.com/imgbnc.php/4038da7fd3132a018d9998f4f9185f1f4g.jpg"> I get the following picture of the borderline between a buffalo grass lawn on the right and a scrubby fescue lawn on the left.

Here is one way: Open your photo in Picasa. Look to the right, you'll see "Link to this photo", hit it, you'll see window "HTML to embed in website" Copy everything in this window. Paste it here before or after your text. Maria

I think it makes that picture a favorite. Other Editing Tools: Applying the star icon Print You can add stars to your photos in Picasa to mark your favorites. First select all the photos in a folder or album in Library view that you'd like to star. Then click the Star button, located just to the right of the Photo Tray. You'll see a small star icon appear on the thumbnail images of the starred photos. Once you've starred your favorite images, you can easily locate them by using the star search filter located to the left of the search box at the top of your Picasa Library. I personally use imageshack have used it for years, love that there are firefox add ons for it that make it so easy use and upload to. I do have a photobucket account but do not use it near as much. I definitely store my data in more than one location and media you never know when one of these freebie sites might just close down and be gone, I have had that happen too. If you want to do private albums I like winkflash.com. Always read the fine print, many say they can delete your photos if there is not a certain amount of us and some you have to purchase something from them once a year. As just a storage locker online I use Adrive they give you a lot of free space.
