Hello and welcome to my listing! First and foremost, I would like to send my deepest gratitude to the people (US and International) who supported me in my previous listings of my seed crosses. For me, the global friendship that resulted from these ebay transactions is PRICELESS compared to the $$$ amount of the item at the end of the auction. Without your trust, I would not be here... In this listing, I will not be offering you seeds of my seed crosses. It will be a bulb of a new and beautiful variety that just recently joined the hippeastrum collection... H. TOSCA TOSCA just recently arrived and have never been released before. This is actually the ONLY release of this beautiful Dutch hybrid that I know of here in USA. With the help of a very good friend in Holland who runs a company that sells good quality Hippeastrum bulbs, I was blessed to acquire a few of these Tosca bulbs. These Tosca bulbs came direct from the grower/owner, inspected by the USDA/APHIS in Netherlands before they were shipped here to US. Every single bulb is inspected and sealed in it's own bag as you can see in the attached pic. I had to open/cut the seal to inspect the bulbs upon arrival to make sure that they were not damaged in transit. TOSCA has been exhibited in the Keukenhof Flower Festival and has received outstanding reviews. It is not sure if bulbs of Tosca will be released in the future as they will be used for cut flower production in Holland. Provided pictures of Tosca are take in the very nursery they are grown and the other one is the Tosca display in Keukenhof. You will be bidding on the pictured Tosca bulb. It's bulb circumference is 30 cm and weighs almost 1 lb, evidence of bulbs not having been subjected to too long storage. As you can see in the picture, it is very fresh with a lot of live roots. The bulbs are healthy and firm with no scape tips coming out and have not gone through "machine washing". It also has a tiny bulblet (baby) already. This bulb will be shipped priority mail ONLY, after payment is received. I will ship bulbs Monday to Wednesday, weather permitting, to avoid shipment sitting in the post office during the weekend. Please be aware of temperatures in your area for the week after the listing ends. The bulbs will be alright up to 40F temperature. Anything below that might harm them and I will not be responsible for frozen or damaged bulbs. These bulbs will be good quality bulbs when they leave my hands and will be carefully packed to keep them as warm as possible for their shipment. If the temperature in your area during the shipping dates are unfavorable, I can hold this bulb for you until you instruct me to ship them as long as it is paid after the auction. Hippeastrum bulbs perform their best when they are planted as soon as possible. Long storage WILL dry them up and can possibly affect their performance. I will ship internationally but will not be responsible for damaged, delayed, lost or confiscated shipment. Contact me for shipping cost and details. Hi everyone and thank you! Sorry to just respond now. I still had to keep my job...lol! Pax...It's not that hard to post pics once I have my photbucket open. It's the choosing of which pics from the stored pics (gosh I don't know how many they are) in the camera that takes time. This Baby Doll was planted waaaayyyy to late in the season for Hadeco bulbs. That is the reason for the short scapes. The second scape it produced was 2" taller than the scape pictured above. It will definitely improve next season. I have right now other Hadeco bulbs, also planted late in the season, that are having a very hard time giving out any kind of growth, scapes or leaves. Poor Vesuvius produced a 2" scape followed by a 3"second scape and the third scape is now 4"tall...lol! I really do recomend planting Hadeco bulbs by December, the latest. Jodik...Isn't our 'mislabeled Rilona' a beauty? Funny how we end up with the same bulb instead of a Rilona. This could possibly be the growers fault. I can't remember if this bulb came with a growers tag. But the Clown that I bought from the same store had a Langeveld tag. Did yours had this tag? I have a very strong feeling that this is Trendsetter. My Trensetter did not bloom. :-( Soultan, did your Trendsetter flower yet?

How nice of Mr. Barnhoom!!!! Maria, I have been known to stagger the planting of new bulbs, but this has been due more to a matter of space requirements and time. They are correct that the longer you prolong planting, the more strength that the bulbs will lose. Please, don't just watch the bulb for new leaf or bud growth. Keep your eyes on the roots. If the roots completely dry and shrivel up, you will have difficulty with the bulbs' future health. Unfortunately, some arrive with only a few healthy roots. I plant those first. I'll chance losing a bloom before I'll chance losing the bulb, especially if I have paid a high price for the bulb or it's a new variety for me. The timing of blooms is no exact science. They are going to bloom when they are ready. Some will take longer to bloom than others whether you see the sign of the scape or not. I purchase new bulbs every year. Those will bloom before my older ones bloom. Typically, I rely on the new bulbs to bloom in December, January and Feb. The older bulbs that are brought into my protected patio/porch area (gets down to 40-50 degrees) will bloom in March, and the ones outside will usually bloom in April. Have FUN!

Hello Everyone, When I arrived home Friday night I had a priority mail box waiting for me on the kitchen table. Anticipation and excitement was everywhere. I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened it. Sooooooooooo many seed packets!!!! You are all the BEST! I am so appreciative to Kim and to all of you for these seeds. I did not expect my seeds to be replaced; you have my deepest gratitude. So many different varieties of seeds to try this year that I'm going to be real busy sowing seeds; should keep me out of trouble for a while. Whom I kidding, the more I sow the more trouble I'm in, for I need to find homes for all the babies that grow. In my eyes, that's the best kind of trouble to be in. Alana - I'm really excited to try the Canavalia gladiate (jack & the beanstalk) beans. I'm sure they will be a hit in the grandkids garden. I was telling my one sister in Kansas about them and she's wondering where to get them so she can try them too. Thanks again everyone, you are all the BEST.
