In the cactus gallery you can directly upload images. In this forum you need to post a link to your image on an external web server (not your PC). There are many free photo hosting sites. I have an account at Photobucket.com. Photobucket is free, and allows you to save plenty of images for use on this or any other web site. Photobucket generates the HTML codes for posting an image or a clickable thumbnail in a post here. Register. Upload your images. Copy the correct code for posting here. Paste your image or thumbnail in a post here. Click on the PREVIEW button to make sure you have the code right. Take your time. It may seem difficult at first, but when you figure it out, it's easy. I was just going to post with the same problem! I thik it's caused by an insect that looks like a tiny bee. It's been flitting around my plants and resting on them and I THINK LAYING EGGS IN THE LEAVES! I think this is the cause of the problem. I just used horticultural oil to smother eggs, if in fact, that is what is incubating in my leaves.

This doesn't answer the OP's question, but on one of these forums probably a couple of years ago, a member, maybe chinacat_sunflower (I think that's spelled right) recommended miracle cloths for exfoliating. They work great for me. I use one on my face every night, and occasionally use one on my elbows, when they need it. I use the ones you used to could get at Wal-Mart in the automotive dept, I think it's NicSand or something like that. I don't know if they're still available.
