Owbist, I had nooo idea it was called "stitching" --- no wonder I wasn't finding any information! LOL Oh my gosh, Thank you sooo much!!! Mikie, My camera is a 3 year old Kodak Easy Share with basics. I was looking last night at some newer cameras and boy, have they come a long way in just three years! I went to the SourceForge link and the program sounds so easy but I also browsed around at other programs that were there and oh my, I could use a few of them also. lol Thank you so much for that link! CBoy, I will follow your instructions to the letter. They were clear and I understood them. For me, that was step one --- understanding the instructions. LOL Thank you so very much! Thank you so very much for going through the trouble of checking your older version of DIP -- your instructions are perfect! I love my DP9 and I ordered the Anniversary Edition last month because I was informed the Anniversary Ed is the last one and only one that will work on my Vista machine (whenever it gets done). Right now I am playing musical computers --- sons', husband's, daughters'-- but can hardly wait for the machine with Vista to get here so I can load my Anniversary Edition DP. Love the DP program! I know it will take practice to get anywhere near as good as you but just the little I've learned from playing around on my own has helped me and others around me so much with all our photos. The most requested? "Can you remove this huge zit on my face?" Right now I only have DP on this computer (son's) so I wanted to try and practice doing the 'stitching' (what a neat word for it! lol) for a couple days before the music stops and I have to find another chair...errr....I mean, computer without the DP. You guys are the greatest -- Thank you all so very much! I bet you all know what I'll be doing all night long, huh? -- Practice stitching my little heart out. LOL

YES! Elaine, That is exactly what happened to me with PSPX when I first got it so I uninstalled it and went back to PSP8. Then I reinstalled it and it worked fine BUT------------------- Now I found out something is wrong with the ROTATE feature! When I have all layers hidden, and one highlighted to be rotated, they ALL ROTATE! I am in the process of e-mailing Corel about it. ~Urlee!

Hi Jen, I have 7,8,9,X, & XII. I absolutely hated 8 and uninstalled it as soon as 9 came out. Can't say I gave 9 a lot of time as by the time I got it X was available. I really liked X but always looking for something better I decided to upgrade to XII. Love it!!! I like the dark color of the workspace better than the others. I checked and all versions after 7 have the feature you are looking for with the different size image templates, new image, presets. Urlee is right about the time it takes to load the later versions, PSP 7 is really quick in comparison. Here is what XII workspace looks like. [ Carol

You can see my picture of the Maltese puppy above. I continued to play with it, by adding spruce, gifts and snow picture tubes. When I was finished, I saved it to jpeg. It wasn't until I tried to email the picture to my sister that I realized the file size had grown to 612kb, with the additional picture tubes. Is this normal for a file size to increase with the addition of picture tubes or is there a step I missed? Until just recently, I used PSP 8 only for editing my pictures and knew little about the programs other functions such as layers, masks etc., so I hope my question doensn't sound too ridiculous. Judy
