getting rid of filter that doesn't work

Everyone here has been so helpful to me & now I need help again. I have downloaded several filters that don't work.. I can delete the folder but they still showup under filters in PSP. How do I get them out of there?

The way I would check....

1. Reboot after you removed the folder.

2. Check C:\Jasc Software Inc/Paint Shop Pro 8(7)/Plugin folder, to see if it has been removed.

3. If you are using PSP8 (never can remember), open the "My PSP8 files/Plugin" folder in 'My Documents' and check to be sure the plugin is gone ?

Are you sure that the folder you deleted is the only place the filter is located ?

What filters are not working ? Maybe you could keep them, if you want to, that is.
