DawnP, a darker color on the card was what I was thinking but I was trying to use two different ones in the vanity areas. Sounds silly but I wondered if a green or pink in the vanity areas would make makeup application difficult when they get just a bit older. johnatemp, I would love to wallpaper, maybe a toile to go with the shower curtain but I don't think dh will go for it.

We had an MCM home with a bath set-up like lazy garden's rendering, above. The W&D were also in the "tub room." It worked great for DH and me. We each had our own "get ready" bathroom and just shared the tub/shower. When we had guests, DH would move into "my" bathroom and the guests would use the other side. During the normal course of the day, the interior doors stayed open. If one of the internal doors was closed, one knew that the tub room was in use. I think the dual-entry shower sounds like a great idea, but would suffer in the execution for the reasons noted above. With no true door between the two rooms, the shower user (unless he steps through and locks the door of the other bathroom) is at the mercy of someone entering the other bathroom during his shower. Likewise, I would think one would be reluctant to use the powder room when someone is showering on the other side of a piece of glass. If you're set on the idea, I wonder if there would be a way to use pocket doors or barn doors to provide a privacy component just outside the glass doors of the shower? It would allow the person showering to pull across a pocket door in the other bathroom without traipsing INTO the other bathroom to lock the entire door. That would leave the other bathroom available for use by other people.

I decided to use your dimensions on graph paper to see how the space looks. If I have it correct, I have a couple of ideas. The first drawing is how your space looks now. Perhaps someone else can come up with other solutions. 2nd drawing and alternative below. Keep everything where it is. Remove shower and extend vanity and install two sinks. 3rd drawing. Remove Jack and Jill feature and put entry from hallway. Add linen cab across from toilet (allow 30 inch clearance in front of toilet). Additional storage next to toilet?. Rotate tub 90 degrees.

The ones at Walmart are Faded Glory. Yes, they are fitted. The tag says 100% cotton, and than 100% "something with an "A"( but maybe that's Spanish for cotton? :) This season's, i.e. bought in late summer/early Fall, were all scoop neck. Usually there are some V-necks but I didn't see any this year (2016). I prefer V-necks but got used to the scoop. Plus they sell really fast and don't get restocked as far as I know. That's why I buy at least two of each color. Most if not all I own are faded and shrunk up a bit by now. Just awhile ago I washed them and started to bag them up for Goodwill. However I have a strange relationship with old clothes. I'm always thinking I'll need them to work outside in or "around the house" as you say or they are still too good to give away. So I held back four. lol But I have learned to purge over the years. I bought one each of all five colors of the J.Jill tees.
