i had the same trouble with bluish/green colors---they all seemed so pastel-y (except bm rainwashed, which reminded me of dark hopital scrubs!) i finally went with bm grey wisp (on the ceiling of our master bedroom) and it still looks abit pastel blue in certain lighting, tho overall i think it's perfect. i wanted to go with a similar color in our masterbath, but just couldn't find a sample that i liked in there...i think our flooring, cabinetry, etc really affected the colors and i just couldn't get the look i envisioned--i ended up going with a greige sortof color and am very happy with it, tho it is different than what i thought i wanted! (the rugs and the cornice have little touches of the "spa blue-ish" color at least!)

One thing to know. In a climate where it's happy, this rose can become very big indeed. Our friend Holly has grown it for ?4-5 years? a few miles north of us, in Ventura. I honestly can't find anything in this rose to criticize -- and if we were still showing roses, this is what I would want in my arsenal (if ARS could figure out a way to make a found rose showable). Knowing, from Holly, how large it would become, we placed it where it could have all the room it wanted ... and we're very happy that we did so.
