Hewlett Packard Photo Smart

Does anyone here use/own one of the HP PhotoSmart printer/scanners? If so, what do you think? I am looking for something easy to use to print out my digital photos. I am not really comfortable with alot of electronic equipment and the HP commercials make it seem fairly easy.

Any other brand worth mentioning?

We have a Photosmart P1000, one of the early ones, and have always been happy with it. It does an excellent job of printing photos on the PhotoREt setting, especially using high gloss photo paper.

My only complaint would be that it uses a tri color cartridge instead of individual cartridges for different colors.

Wouldn't hesitate to buy another Photosmart printer, in fact, we are thinking of getting the new Photosmart 8750 pro that prints up to 13 x 19.

I tried the HP site, jillzey, but you have to upload the picture to their site. I wanted one that I can take to my Picture It program and put everything together there. I'll look again when I get home to see if maybe I printed something out from that site that would have the address on it. thanks!

Charlene any time you are going to get things like your fonts or any other downloads like that make it a habit to always before you open the file on your pc, immediately after you download it just go to that file and right click and choose to scan it with your antivirus program then make sure your malwarebytes is updated and do the right click scan and use malwarebytes too, if you do this you will prevent opening a potential infected file to your pc. Keeping malwarebytes updated is essential so that when you do a right click scan it has all the latest definitions, your antivirus program gets them automatically but with malwarbytes you have to open the program and hit update. Also running malwarebytes at least once a week, fully updated and full scan is a very good habit to get into. and we have to all remember when something is offered to us free sometimes there is a reason and it comes with a nasty little bonus unfortunately they love to add those to stuff like wallpaper, fonts, smilies, all the nice fun stuff. I thought I had upgraded to IE7 at one point. Yahoo wants me to upgrade to IE8, but after reading about it here, I was reluctant to do so. I did go to windows updates last week to see if there were any I needed to do, but after scanning it said there were none. How do I get IE 7?
