I presume the line drawing is excerpted from "a manual"? That the deck is now "slewed back" on the right side may just be the result of the right side bracket being absent (the deck is further back on that side because it is not held by the needed bracket). The line drawing "appears to show" the right bracket being longer than the left, but that may just be the draftsman adding a bit of "parallax" or "isometric projection" to the drawing in order to lend a 3D effect to a 2D drawing. Hopefully, one of the Cub owners (or a fan) can provide the dimension you need, or at least a photo of an intact deck. BTW, you did very well in providing photo and graphics with your post.

I just threw out my camera in disgust last night. It was an old Sony given to me by a friend years ago with an a:\ drive. BUT, I can encourage you to grow wood betony which is in bloom right now.

If you have a graphics program you could make seed packets. The front could have a photo of your friend and say something like "She keeps going and going...". The back could say "Thanks for coming!", date and occasion info, the type of seeds and something like "Hope these seeds keep growing and growing!". I plan on making seed packet favors for my DD's graduation party coming up in June. I will be using the templates for the seed packets in the link below.
