| Hi Folks
I couldn't paint on Friday as I have a very sore eye and didn't want to risk making it worse with paint and turp fumes. I called in at class to let the teacher know what was going on and was totally shattered to see such a lovely painting - knowing I'd be missing out. So my teacher Peter Bate said I could borrow his for the week to study the colors and brush strokes and if I get brave I can try to copy it all by myself - not sure if I'll be attempting that but I had to show you what a true masterpiece looks like so please enjoy My teacher's work: HUGS

|
| Sue, I agree with Judy, you could have signed it, we would never known the difference. Mr. Bate's painting is very good....but, so are your paintings. Joy |

| Hi Sue, You R Welcome. Sorry we messed up on your wonderful offer showing that lovely painting. Also am not pleased at the "rub our nose in it" statement as that didn't sound how I meant it to be! Bad choice of words but I am not going to try to explain what I meant and screw it up more. Not to add salt to the wound but I would like to show what I did see as a "booboo"?

| Sue - I'm so sorry to hear that you have a problem with your eyes......far too young for that. Leave all the eye problems cataracts etc. to us old birds. Take care of your eyes - and realize that the talent you have will wait for a couple of weeks. You can do this one next week - I have total faith in you. Elaine |

| Thanks Elaine, it's still a bit sore but I think the main problem might have been a mosquito bite on the upper eye lid, sure was painful. It still looks a bit yuck but I can see better :) I worry about my eyes as I'm borderline Glucomia - hoping it doesn't develop further as the optomitrist said once treatment starts it's for life. LOL Urlee I noticed that too but Peter always says there are NO mistakes in art. It's a painting not a photograph so adding interest with extra reflections etc is artistic expression at it's finest :) HUGS |

| Sue, It IS, a beautiful painting, but I would prefer it without that none matching reflection as I don't see the beauty of it. But then again, who am I? ~Urlee~ |
