Contrary to PhoneLady's comment, I don't think your two selections favor one another at all. One is industrial and techy with a dull finish, and the other is Blingy Chic with a shiny finish. Just because they are both contemporary, it doesn't mean they are a good fit together. Your ceilings are not very tall, and although I like your selection for the dining room, I don't think you will be able to use that particular fixture unless you have it custom made for your ceiling height, which will likely change the appearance of the fixture completely. From your photos, I don't see a place to hang the living room chandelier, and unless you plan to change the stone facing on the fireplace, the crystals with the shiny silver finish seem to formal for the casual rustic nature of the fireplace. I might suggest selecting a fixture that complements the industrial techy style of the one in the dining room. Here is a selection of fixtures from RH that could work together.
