Rec's for Image Hosting Site?

I'd like to post images on message boards/forums for 'viewing' only -- not copied or shared.

Would appreciate any suggestions.

I'm assuming that by " for 'viewing' only -- not copied or shared." you mean you'd like to try to make it more difficult to copy or hot-link to the image?

You may be able to size and position a transparent gif on top of the image to make it a little harder to copy, or link to. This forum allows that, most probably do not.

I doubt that you'll find a host that provides code though.

BTW, the above image is actually three images, all sized the same, and positioned absolutely so they're stacked one directly on top of the other. Bottom image is the main scene, middle image is the snow gif, top image is the transparent gif. Right-click it and select "View image"(In Firefox) and all you get is the transparent gif.

Something like this:

<div style="position:relative;"><img src="URL_of_image"><div style="position:absolute;top:0px;left:0px;"><img width="width_of_image" height="height_of_image" src="URL_of_the_transparent_gif"></div></div>

All that would do though is make a person have to inspect the source rather than simply right-clicking so... you'd only stop a few folks.

If you post it, you allow it to be sent to the user's browser, so of course it can be copied, if fact, it already is. :)

Yes. And needless to say - 'code' is WAYyy over my head :-)
Appreciate your response chuggerguy. ;-)
