I hope this isn't a stupid question, but when I try to save this, it becomes a jpeg image instead of a tube. So when I go to use it as a tube, there is a white background. Am I suppose to make it into a tube? If so, can someone refresh my memory on how to do that? Thanks.

Not a stupid question at all.
This is how I do it - but because the duck has a drop shadow it still ends up a bit odd looking so I just worked with a white background. You could also use the point to point cutting tool to carefully go around it and then paste where you want it to go - different picture etc.

LOL anyway excuse my rambling. This is how you can usually remove the white:

Open image in Paintshop
Get the magic wand and click on the white background. If it doesn't select it all press the SHIFT key and keep clicking different spots on the background until all the white areas are selected.
Selections - Invert
Now copy image and paste as a new image.
It now has a transparant background and is ready to make into a tube if you want to - I never bother tubing unless it's something I'll use a lot.
