Acquired Paint Shop Pro Syndrome

The Centre for Disease Control today announced the identification of a new disease.

Tentatively named Acquired Paint Shop Pro Syndrome, the disease is highly infectious. Scientists at CDC say the disease is caused by a bacillus called staphlo aibrush because of its brush like shape. Under the microscope the bacillus is long and slender with a bristle like appendage at one end.

Symptoms of the disease include feverish babbling of words, such as font, blade, image, fill, and talking about invisible friends such as Kitty poo, Luv2paint, and Queen font etc. Additionally, symptoms include feverish trading and storing of filters, masks and plug-ins, and a "groaning Graphics folder".

The disease is especially dangerous because it cannot only be passed along directly from one infected individual to another, but documented cases have been found where the sufferer caught the disease from reading a tutorial or joining a graphics exchange group.

Family members should be aware that while the disease may occasionally enter remission, it is at present incurable.

The patient should be given a quiet corner with a comfortable chair, ample supply of snack type treats, and good lighting.. Interruptions should be minimized.

You also may add that when you get into the "advanced" stages like I am------you suffer from "flashbacks" of images where ever you look! And you try to erase parts of what you see to improve pictures on TV.

I've been using this stuff for a long time. I haven't grown a 2nd nose or 30 toes yet. I have bee's, frogs, butterfly's and humming birds in my garden all the time. The last time I looked in the mirror I really didn't look like a rat or mouse. I wear long sleeve shirt, long pants and eye protection. Clean everything up with a lot of water and take a shower after spraying. You have to look at it like this. ANY man made chemical is going to have some adverse effect on something living sometime. Do you use deodorant?

That array of blue bottles with all the similar Bayer names can be confusing, can't it... Bayer Advanced Disease Control for Roses, Flowers, Shrubs with only one active ingredient, tebuconazole, and NOT with the addition of fertilizers or systemic insecticides, was suggested to me for blackspot on roses that's been a huge and stubborn problem this year. I looked 6 places in this small town and found it at Lowe's an hour from here just this week, right where the people on the rose forum had said it would be - they had warned it may not be at Home Depot, Walmart, any of the others.

I have had the same type of thing. My Guac seems to have recovered (most haven't). I have new growth on many, however. It kind of looks like a second flush. Whether they will make it, we'll see in the spring. With the wet winter predicted, you never know. bk

Anyone use Serenade disease control?

Our climate is probably a lot more wet than yours but Serenade did NOT work here...(Excluding sulfur) I actually never found any organic spray to work here in our environment/climate SO I only grow disease resistant roses that do not need sprayed... But since your climate is different who knows? I guess give Serenade a try and see what results you get... Please report back sometime on your progress...
