removing flters

I have some filters installed..they show in PSP7 & 8 but when I go to use them I get a popup that says they wasn't installed right or a file is missing. How to do I them out of PSP. Should I download them again or will this just put a unusable filter there again? Some I have work & some don't. I tried removing one from the folder.. It was still in PSP.

yes, I have the DLL files. I have photo deluxe which installed them. That was my 1st photo editing program.
I Installed another filter today & now they are back & working. I don't know what I did but won't complain LOL. I have 2 that won't work though. They are stylize & Neology.

The ones in PSP8 aren't working as well but some do. I only use psp8 is when I have to.

Now how do I get these few in PSP7 out? I don't think just putting the folder in the trash will do it. Do I just ignore them LOL

Hey Mike. I'd love seeing your pictures, especially Desert Rose, now that it's in bloom. Since it's at your work, is it in a window? I believe palm leaves are called fronds. Or is that fern leaves? LOL. I'm unsure. Yesterday, after reading your thread on Palms, I ended up on Ebay..Sure enough, I bid on 3 palms..lol..won two. Blue Mediterraium Fan and European Fan. There's one palm listed at 650.00!!! That must be one hellofa palm..Do people actually buy plants that cost so much money? The last bid was for a Travellers Palm..though it's not a true palm, (it's related to Bird of Paradise, Sterlitzia, spelling's off) I doubt I'll win. Has anyone ever seen a mature Travellers Palm? It's amazing. There's one at the conservatory; they have to chop down periodically, otherwise it'll hit the top green house panes. Some palms grow faster than others. Parlor Palm (Chamaedorea elegans) Kentia (Howea forsterana) and Areca (Chrysalidocarpus lutescens) Palms grow quicker than most. I have one of each, they've put on many 'fronds?' over the years. I'd like Bamboo..but can't find one that doens't cost a fortune. Seeds take so long, germinating, plus growing. I'd too be long gone before seeing a 4' palm started from seed..LOL. It would be nice meeting people from Gardenweb. But where on earth would we all meet? I get lost going to the store, lol, let alone driving out of state. And I have a fear of planes. The last time flying, I thought I'd have a heart attack. LOL. But I agree it'd be great meeting everyone. On a nice, summers day. A few years ago, people on Citrus forum met. They got together, introduced themselves, went to a citrus show, was taught grafting trees, had speakers discuss citrus and their care. Most people lodged at the same hotel/motel. Undergravel filters with powerheads..opinions?

I prefer a UGJ system paired with additional filtration. Undergravel Jets - Powerhead feeds a system of CPVC tube with output nozzles at substrate level to sweep deitrus off the bottom before it can settle. This tends to allow the main filters / powerhead filter to catch things before they settle. Can't argue with noise. HOB's tend to leave you wondering which faucet is still running. When paired with a canister or clean hob, they're near silent. (So long as water levels don't drop too far below the spray bar) The UGJ's seem to work out best in higher flow tanks - my cichlids love them. They use the many different flow areas to help define territories / position fry for food / etc. It also cuts down very heavily on in vac time when set up correctly. If you've got a powerhead, odds are $10-$15 will get you the cpvc pipe/fittings to do the job. You can get quite creative (boiling and clamping fittings to create nozzles, using fish safe silicone to adhere your substrate to the piping to blend in, etc). Not knocking the UGF at all. Personal preference. I like being able to clean to the bottom glass w/o removing everything to get to it. I spent enough time fighting with large gravel slipping under the ugf plates... ;)

The green color is a break in oil additive.I have never did the first break in oil change on a GM vehical.But I have seen this on small engine like Kohler.First I thought Oh no antifreeze in the oil.Until I realised the Kohler was air cooled.GM uses the pink antifreeze so your also safe. Also when you change oil the first time.Its normal to see a metalic grey color and resembles graphite.Thats the filings and is normal and the green additive is to help remove them. The oil filter was tight because the factory does not put a small film of oil on the seal and also the filter base plate is dry and oil free at time of filter installation. Im not sure what oil they use at the factory.But GM Goodwrench oil I think is distributed bottled from Valvoline oil.

thanx Scott.. I have the Jandy slide valve. not sure if thats the same as the MPV? Today I decided to take filter apart and clean grids thoroughly. I found excess DE buildup in between all the grids while grids still positioned upright before disassembly.. I'm probably not flushing out as much DE at or during prior backwashing. Also replaced worn O ring where manifold connects to return pipe. After starting up clean filter and adding 10 coffee cans of DE at skimmer, I noticed tiny white particles coming out returns for first hour or two after flter cleanout. White specs were more particle like than dusty or cloudy water with DE in it. Could this be specs of calcium depostes coming off grids. Filter grids and entire system is 4 years old this summer. Maybe its time to replace filter grids or soak in de-calcifying solution? thanx again, Drew

Where do I look to see if I have the DLL files?

When installing, where do they go? Any special place to put them or let them install on their own?

Please note: I am a chicken when it comes to installs!

I put the names in FIND I saw I had them. I have seen PSP sites that they were on for download but didn't mark them as I didn't need them. I was lucky as I had them already with the Photo Deluxe I have had forever.
If U need the DLL files I'll look for them tonite. I have to be ready to leave in about 45 minutes & have a lot to do still. I don't remember where mine were but can look later if no one answers before tonite. Hopefully U already have them :)

OK Dar----I did type in MSVCRT10.DLL in search for files and it came up none so I guess I need them.
I think the ones we are talking about is what Joy posted above?

Urlee and Dar, if you look at the web site that I posted you will find a link to MSVCRT10.DLL and PLUGIN.DLL , and the instructions on where and how, to load them.

If I were you, I would download them and try and add them, if you already have them you will get a message that tells you have them. In the past,I have had to reload mine, have no idea why.

Dar, they don't go in FIND, they go in Windows/System file.

I think she meant Find as in Search for the files.
She used Find to type the names of, like I did Search to see if any files showed up.

Urlee, I looked at mine....

I have two folders (not sure if every one does), one says System32 and one only says System. Mine are in the one that says System. In the Plugin installation instructions, it just says System. However, check and see if they work, if they are working leave them where they are. If they aren't working, do a search and see if you can find the folder that just says System.
