I bought a Chinese knock-off a couple years ago - ETQ 72K12, for a place in FL. I bought it thru Amazon, great price and free shipping. I didn't fire it up, but did put oil in the spark plug hole and pulled the cord a few times. I got a call while on the road, our development was without power. I told my neighbor to into my place and take my new generator, put oil and gas in it and use it. He used it for about 6 days - and bought it from me. He loves it. So I think it is a crap shoot, sometimes we win, sometimes we loose. Would I do it again - in a nanno second. Ron

One trick for tying up excess nitrogen in over fed situations is to add some sugar as the carbon will allow the bacteria to consume soluble nitrogen and store it as their own biomass. The other method is to leach the pots out a bit. I think once you remove all the old foliage you are probably safe but you could add a spoon of sugar to soil when you water.

Glenda, I am leaving the day after Christmas for a cruise from Tampa to the Caribbean. I am also a widow and will be traveling with 5 friends. I am looking forward to it but it has been stressful because it is such a busy time of the year. I am planning on taking the time to relax and spend lots of time on the deck reading.
