I know why she is sleeping!! She is worn out from tagging along with me at the Affair of the Heart show in Tulsa this week-end! She made me shop till I dropped! And she bought stuff so big that one guy had to carry it out for us, that crazy woman!! I know I didn't need all of those birdhouses, but when I turned around, there was this nice lady behind the counter handing me the receipt to sign!!! That OW had used my Credit card!! And to top it all off, she made me get lost in Tulsa before the show looking for the right address to pick up an old sink that I found on CL. And I have a GPS!!!! Go figure!! My best friends mom was ROTFL saying, only one I know that could still get lost with a GPS has to be a Blondie!! But I know the truth, the OW was bumping my arm making me take the wrong road!!! Thanks again for the replies and thanks for the follow-up. Yes, I did talk with DH about this and that did NOT go well. He reports that after talking with Ms. Flirt that she became very upset and insisted that I was making a mountain out of a mole hill, blah, blah, blah. And then, thanks to this thread, I approached him again and that didn't go well either. I told him that when he allowed her to say those things in my home and in front of me, it hurt me deeply and that his silence implied both his consent and his agreement. He became agitated and said that I was over-reacting, etc. This is my second marriage and I'm struggling to make it work. He's not an easy man to live with and I'm probably not an easy woman to live with. Heck, I don't know what to think anymore. We have had three or four major "discussions" on this issue and he said he's tired of talking about it. The problem is, there has not been a satisfactory resolution. I do think that if it happens again, he'll be more alert to telling WHOMEVER to shut up. Or so I hope. In the meantime, I have no dealings with Ms. Flirt and I keep my distance. She is doing the same, and claiming to HIM that she is "very hurt" at my attitude and has no interest in seeing me again. Yeesh. Still glad you asked? For now, I think it's gonna be one of those messy, icky marital issues that I'm just going to build a mental fence around and just leave it alone for a time. I can't ruin my marriage over this. I'll just pay attention and see how he behaves in the future. DH is one of those guys who will rant and rave but in the end, he'll pay attention to what I say and not repeat his mistakes. I've told him that (in the words of Stephen Covey), this was a huge withdrawal from my spiritual/emotional bank account and it'll take some time for his account with me to be restored to where it was before this incident. That just makes him mad, but it's the truth. You long-term married people, how do you DO THIS???? And you long-term second marriage people, was it harder the second time? Holy canoly, this ain't easy.

I have been married for 6 years, and have tried many different approaches to making my wife want to be intimate. I guess it's hard for me to understand how woman truly work. I remember our first years of marriage, she would put different (I call) excuses, as to why she didn't want to be intimate. Here are some: "you don't help me out around the house, I'm overwhelmed, and I am frustrated", "the kids got me all over the place", "I'm tired from working all day".... Then I gained a little weight, and she used to hint that I was chubby when I took of my shirt. You might think, damn that's kind of harsh, I thought so too, but I was determined to give her no excuse. So I addressed the issues. I Clean - wash dishes and clothes, clean floors and vacuum, and even cook. No not just once, til this day, I do it at least 2 times a week. As for the kids, I give them bathes and get them ready for bed, some morning when I'm off I cook breakfast, almost every night I cook. Work- she cut down from 5-6 days to 4 (has her own business). Lastly my weight, I dropped the fat and now am pretty shredded (let's say other woman don't have a problem complementing me). At this point guys would be like, too much work, but I thought she is worth the battle. I figured these changes would be the key to my success, but sadly I'm writing this post for that reason. Funny thing, when I say "your beautiful", she takes it lightly; but when some random dude, says the exact same she gets all hyped and tells her girl-friends. And for the woman who say, "what's your approach on sex?" I don't ask, like I used to, I try and deliver food to her at least once a week, send flowers every change in season... My point is I Persue her. Everything I do just turns-on woman around me, but I feel like I'm wooing a rock. Lol. So woman please tell me where I'm wrong?! In my eyes divorce is not an option, I believe in marriage (period). Insight >> woman who do this to your husbands, be careful. if I didn't have my beliefs, let's say it wouldn't be hard to get someone else to show me what I'm lacking.
