I love the classes and find it very relaxing.

Buzzard a lot of the paintings are of our local area - the art teacher paints things he likes and then we copy his work in the class each week. It's mostly landscapes but occasionally he throws in a portrait or still life just to challenge us - they are the weeks my paintings end up in the back shed LOL

Beautiful work Sue. Do you do any digital painting? I was just curious as I would think it would be such a transition to do painting on the computer, then do the real thing.

Carol I've tried digital painting - with a tutorial but didn't like it. One of the thing I love about painting is the texture and feel of the oil paint (even the smell) I enjoy using my fingers to smudge clouds and computer painting just feels flat after that.
