FINALLY (twist)

Last May 2005, I tried and tried to find out how to do the "twist" and when I found the download to use, the copywrite name was on the whole ribbon so I couldn't put my text on. I wrote to the company in October and just now was informed of it being fixed for me to enter my code. Now I got it to work! YAY!

Just a quickie for a test run.

I've not done this, but I have built a house and have filled out FAFSA and the Profile. I'll try to keep this as simple as I can. It's best to remember a few "rules." FAFSA doesn't ever consider home equity in the primary residence. Profile schools do. Both will look at the equity in the empty lot as an asset. Both types of forms will consider any cash from the sale as an asset if it's just sitting in an some type of account somewhere. If you spend it, then it's not a cash asset. Even when you build on the lot and it becomes part of your home equity, Profile schools will consider it as part of your total home equity. FAFSA schools will no longer consider it an asset since it's part of your primary residence. To my knowledge there is no way to totally protect the $ from the sale. Any type of account you set up will be an asset. There is some protection for 529's and retirement accounts, but then it's not available for the build. If you finish the project--sale, build, and close in a single year, then presumably you no longer have a cash asset. Profile schools will still look at the total home equity (lot and home). FAFSA schools won't look at value of the lot any longer because it's part of your home equity. I don't know of a way to prevent a Profile school from looking at the home equity. Keep in mind your taxes from the prior year are used to determine aid for the following year. Assets are generally determined on the date you file the forms. Just because you might not need to declare the profits from a home sale on your taxes does not mean they are not considered an asset. eg. My 2009 taxes and assets on the day I file the form determine how much aid my child might receive in the fall of 2010. It's been my experience in the past that Profile deadlines are earlier than FAFSA deadlines, but not always. How quickly you need to use up those assets will depend upon the deadlines for FAFSA. It will remain an asset for Profile schools though they do look at the home equity differently than they do savings. (BTW--there is some asset protection with Profile schools--again it varies) It's pretty complicated, and I hope this helped a bit.

Zephyr hood - replace lightbulb

Thank you for all the comments—they helped me so much! I’ve had my Zephyr Gust hood for 6-7 years, and one bulb recently went out. I decided I wanted to go with LED replacements because they will last longer, use less energy, and the light color temperature (3000K) will match my LED under cabinet lighting better. I purchased the bulbs and a suction cup from the Zephyr website, even though the bulbs seemed to be overpriced. I wanted the suction cup and I wanted to make sure to have the appropriate LED bulb. There are so many choices with beam angle, lumens, CRI, and color temperature. Here are the specs for the bulb they sell on the website: Intertek KLLUG-6B Model Z0B0040 Bulb Base GU10 Color Temp 3000K CRI >=80 Wattage 6 Lumens 480 Beam Angle flood 38 degrees The first bulb came right out, but the second was a bit of a bother. It finally (in reality just a couple minutes) came out, and I didn’t have much problem getting them back in. Pay attention to the position of the 2 prongs when you pull it out so you know what angle you are shooting for when you put them back in. I did remove the filters first so I could see what I was doing, but I’m not sure it helped.

"I would like to see it get back to how it was in the beginning. " Nooooooooooooooooooo. Remember when they ate ALL that gross stuff in food challenges? It was awful!!!!!! The dead bird that was almost ready to hatch....oh...and the BIG bug larvae.....nasty.....nasty.....nasty! No one should be falling face first into a fire and have to have skin grafts on his hands. I think it was too much to ask that people hurt themselves for a show. Now they have bandaids....did you notice? They don't show every little boo boo and owie. Much better.

I noticed the name..detective Urlee...I suppose that is the name you will use when you set up shop. Or is that for the TV program? LOL That is so cute, I have never seen that before. Leave it to our own private eye to uncover it.

I have been trying to find a tute for that as I have a print out to follow but wanted an URL to a tute to post here.
I can't get into KatKorner as that is where I saw it months ago.
It consists of 12 layers that you move by adding 30 each time like from 30 to 60 to 90 to 120 and so on.

Reinstall Vizro and then reregister. Restart psp and all should be well.

I got exhausted looking for a tute then other things detained me.
Your computer is smarter than mine!

I surely got this saved and filed using my new system so now I can look it up whenever needed and it's there.
I got 4 printed pages out of it using the double sided otherwise it would be 7 single.
Gosh, I just burned a backup so I hope all goes well to catch this next time around for backup.

LOL Some people are blessed with patience - I'm NOT one of those people.
Gave up on the 2nd twist and just put two of the wide ones together - LOL

Certainly not a great effort but the best I'm capable of today.

Right back where I was!
Should have left well enough alone!
I had so many Vizros DL's in my files from trying so hard to get rid of the Vizros name last summer that I decided to delete all and re-download fresh with only that to keep and NOW I keep getting that damn name on the ribbon again even tho I registered umpteen times. Maybe they are all sleeping and it takes time to register?

My Vizros is SHOT! So I guess I can't even make them anymore!
I finally got rid of the name but can't get the twisted look! Just a solid roll!

Man this one is hard. I got as far as where you have to delete part of the wide ribbon and gave up for the night.
I don't think I am deleting the right part so I figured I would try again tomorrow after my brain gets a rest!! haah
