Question animated gif in email

Does anyone know why when I send this as an attachment in email, it is not animated? When I check my sent folder & open the attachment it is animated, but the person receives it with just the still reflection. I sent it to hubby at work, thought maybe it was some restriction on his computer, then I sent it to my daughter's home email and it was the same way, no animation.
