OK you peaked my interest enough to google bonspiel. Then I checked your page to find out you live in Canada. It all made sense to me then. We also have had a little sun, but other than taking my dogs out it is still too cold to really enjoy it. Don't know if you saw on the news about I78 in PA where people were stranded for 24 hrs. on Valentine's day. We live about twenty minutes from there, and are expecting the same kind of weather tomorrow thru Monday. Woop de do! Hate this bitter cold! But I'm sure living in Canada it is common place for you.
