Urlee, That's cool. I'd like something like that. How did you do it?

Here's one I took more time with to get a better cal!
    And to fit your desktop?

    Oh Teri,
You snuck in between! I thought I had the place all to myself. "LOL"
I used PSPX and it didn't crash like 8 always does so I may just "move in".

Roughly, I took a picture and duped it so I could crop the second one to place on top of the first one. Then I made a Transparent calender to put on top and I "opacitized" it.
The second picture, I lightened it.
That roughly explains it. Of course I added a border etc.

    Here you go Teri,
I don't know if they are too big for your desktop if you use it for such but you can resize to work>

    Teri,
Now that it is "morning" and I had a good nights sleep,
I think it would have been better if the middle part was lighter? Just my picky picky.
You don't have to use it etc. I was just fooling around with an idea Elaine tossed my way.

Urlee - they just seem to get nicer and nicer as you make them! I love that last one for Teri - it's gorgeous (of course I love blue anyway you make it!). The photo you used is so nice - and at this rate you will be an absolute expert, before I even get a chance to have a "go" at one!

Hopefully I'll get that chance after golf today.

    Thanks again - Elaine

    Oh Elaine-----

You and I make a good team? We could be "dangerous" together?" "lol"

  • Elaine_Canada

I don't know about you Urlee - but I've been told all my life...... I could be dangerous with anybody! My poor husband puts up with me though, thank heaven.

I'm going to give that calendar a try tonight!

Great work and darling picture to work with.

Finally Urlee - I've done one. Not smart like you but followed the tutorial that the lady was kind enough to find for me!

Here's the tutorial (not that you need it)but it has a calendar template included which might help.

You knew it would be a golf picture, but it's too dark for my liking - just had to prove I finally did it!

Elain, thank for posting the tutorial. I think I'll give it a try only I'll do Feb since Urlee already made me a great Jan.

    Oh Elaine,
    That is GORGEOUS!
I took my "crappy" ones off!
Teri, Please feel free to make a January replacement with one done the "right" way!"lol"
Elaine thank you so much for the tut (you cheated) now we are in business!!!!

Ha ha Urlee - I already have what you call your "crappy ones" saved - I'm too fast for you - I loved them.

I probably should have made Feb. but had to do something quick and get it sent in, or it would truly be Feb. I'm always so slow, but that's why I'm called.......

    I agree Elaine,
That is "A Master Piece" and one to be proud of!
The object is, is to experiment with different ideas to give us enjoyment.

All of the calanders turned out great. Elaine your's is beautiful. Did you try it in PSPX?
    Carol

  • Elaine_Canada

Yes I did it in PSP X..... come on now - the tutorial said use PSP X.....I wouldn't do something different. I'm one of the people who have to be led by the nose - do what I'm told and hope for the best. Thanks for the compliments, but I just followed along and did what I was told. Give it a try - nothing to lose and post it here and someone will tell us where we went wrong!
