Take my advise and keep your XP. I recently got a new computer with Windows 7 and I hate it. Your PSP will work, and Animation Shop will also work. I have PSP 7 through 12, but mostly use 10. Very few of my plug-ins/filters will work. When I try to download a filter that isn't working I am given an error message : Access denied, telling me Administrative privileges may be required.... I have not found anyone that can help me with this. Hey, I am the administrator!!!! The only thing I enjoy about it is the 23 inch screen. On my old computer when I clicked on an icon on my screen I was instantly taken to the program. Now, I click sometimes 8 to 10 times before it opens my program. I know you will have to update from XP sometimes but I reallllllly wish I had not. Sorry to be so discouraging but telling you the facts as I am experiencing them. If anyone can help me with these problems I am listening. I do not like Windows Live Mail. I had Outlook Express and was pleased with it.

I have to get a ready made one & don't think I can get one with XP. I no longer do much with PSP so hate to buy a more expensive custom made to get XP.. The main thing I do is resize & stuff like that. That is how I scan so that may be a problem. I don't like changes. I think this computer has some serious problems & about to die.. Thanks, Dar

Hi, I too haven't been here for a long time & you have probably already got your new PC. But in case, I am running PSP 8 on my Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit with no problem. I am really amazed at the number of my old programs I can run. Sometimes I get a message saying that it may not have installed properly, do i want to reinstall using the recommended settings, click OK, it will reinstall again & works fine.
