It would be nice to "support" my local nursery when it comes to Clematis..but around here..I can't hardly find any...Lowe's, Walmart have those itty bitty orange pots of them from Roseville..I've had success with those but they don't even compare to the Ones I've bought from Dan,Debbie,Murray or Chad..I would rather pay $16.00+ for a well rooted clematis from any of them for something I really really just gotta have!!..It's really strange when I go to the nurseries for they call me the clematis lady..from all the times I've asked if they have any or when will they get some or can I talk to the manager to ask if they'll add them to their inventory..I was SO SHOCKED this year...I saw Lowe's had ONE-GALLON clematis but to my dismay..they were one's I had...I did pay 10bucks for a one-gallon "Snow Queen" that my climbing rosa "Don Juan" asked me to pick up for him..I think they shall be divine together!!...Jeanne

I stated no one has to send in 100, that is the limit of how many can be sent in. I think people are waiting to see what comes back this year before they join. I am gonna start color coded my post so people can pick them out and make SURE they read them. OK here is the plan. Nichol will keep track of the posted list and on the last day before mailing plants out will email the final list to all the members. From this list you pick your top list of what you would like to receive back. NO GAURANTEES WILL BE MADE THAT YOU WILL GET ALL YOUR WISHES FILLED IT DEPENDS ON HOW MANY REQUEST ARE MADE FOR THAT PLANT. YOU MUST SEND IN A LIST TO ME OF WHAT YOU WANT AND WHAT YOU ARE SENDING IN. IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO PRINT OUT A LIST OR HAND PRINT ONE YOU CAN SEND ME .30 EXTRA FOR ME TO PRINT A LIST FOR YOU. As someone who doesn't like design shows, I'm really looking forward to a new cooking channel! I can't tolerte most of the cooks on The Food Channel. I don't like how they use film for the shows instead of tapes, it makes a big difference. Paula Deen's show uses tape, the others are film, I think. The Bark hotdog sounds like fun...coming from a hotdog girl! Just no low talkers like the Contessa or whatever her name is. lol

I have honed dark granite right now and it stains like crazy esp anything remotely oily. Tried everything to seal it and nothing worked. It was in the house when we bought it and we are now remodeling the kitchen and it it will be gone. Replacing with polished Sea Pearl quartzite if the quote is right (fingers crossed). It's been a process because this kitchen has extremely high end (previous owner installed) cabinets with a high gloss finish in teal blue - gorgeous but challenging and way to expensive to replace. Very sleek and modern. Thanks to the oven forum we chose the Miele Master Chef oven (wanted that rotisserie) and warming drawer and after reading on the Refrigerator Forum we chose the Thermador Freedom Towers for the fridge and freezer. LOL we inquired about getting panels for them to match the cabinets and yikes, the cost was more than the appliances cost. So stainless fronts it is. Everyone here is so helpful - certainly appreciate this site and the forums.
