I haven't worked on a tut with a mask in a while so I tried this one.

Hi Carol,
That is neat!
I have never used masks as instructed in that tut and would you believe, I can't get my mask to appear?
When I click on a mask and click load, nothing happens?
I was on X then switched to 8 and can't do it in either?
Mask illiterate. Gotta get out my book.

Crepuscule's stiff canes are graceful enough if you don't cut them. This plant is supported from below by a bamboo frame about 1.5' tall, just large enough to direct the basals skyward before gravity takes over. As much as I love the way it looks, it's too darned BIG! So I plan to build a higher, wider frame under it this fall in the hope that hoisting its skirts up will bring its width back to the 20' range. I remove basal or lateral canes entirely, if need be, but quit trying to restrict its size by shortening canes after I realized that it was willing to put up more of a fight than I had time to counter. It's tremendously vigorous and throws out basal length canes at odd angles from any cut ends, so pruning it and then turning my back on it for 15 minutes just made it bigger and wilder looking. This rose owns the garden from early April to mid June, and repeats almost continuously and not too ungenerously for the rest of the season. But the blooms quickly become unsightly in hot weather. Were that not so, I wouldn't mind so much that it's a real estate hog. Its health is good. It appears to have outgrown its early susceptibility to powdery mildew, and black spot has never been a problem. I have to agree with hoovb on Alister Stella Grey. I don't prune that one for size either, and it takes up much, MUCH less space. Its health is good, the rebloom is constant and generous, and the summer blooms hold up a lot longer. Over all I think it's the better rose.

Christie, I am almost embarrassed to list all the seeds I ordered. I will just say, open-pollinated corn which means we have to get a new bed ready far away from the other garden and I have to buy a grain mill by fall! I will be trying several new tomatoes (all heirlooms), a new squash/pumpkin, Seminole Pumpkin. It is a smaller size and will store inside at normal room temperature which is a plus. I think that is all the new things. Then the regular: potatoes, lettuces, radishes, (no kohlrabi!), spinach, cabbage, turnips, sweet corn, pole beans, okra, purple beets (hated the golds) and cucumbers. I planted mine in full sun in 2004; they were 3 gallon sized plants and I planted three of them. They are over 7 feet tall now and have not ever bloomed. Last year, I figured the April freeze might've gotten to them (they lost a lot of tender leaves) and I had hoped they would bloom this year, but they didn't. I planted them for their foliage and a screening effect, so the lack of blooms hasn't bothered me, but I have been surprised that they've done nothing.

HVAC Thermostat 24v wire keeps tripping

Thank you so much for the responses so far. It is definitely not the thermostat. Just when the weather turned cold this year we lost power to our old thermostat and called our friend who works in HVAC to come take a look. He tripped the breaker which fixed the issue and that is how we knew to do that this time around. When researching causes my husband decided he wanted to Nest and we got it mostly for aesthetic purposes. So, definitely not the Nest or its set up causing the issue. Bare with me as I am new to all of this but will try my best to describe our system. I thought it was Carrier but was wrong. It is a 1988 Amana all-electric heat and cooling system. It was a tested factory model that the previous owner got from her father who worked at the plant and it was installed in September 2001. The breaker is in the crawl space and we have a 1700 square foot two story home. Are there any other details that might be helpful? My husband has a good friend who has worked in HVAC repair for several years. He is a friend but still not cheap! I think we may just call him back over to test what is pulling so much power that it is tripping the breaker, but thought I would check here first for some tips. Thank you everyone!

Beautiful Urlee! And speaking of not knowing how to do things, I haven't used custom brushes in a few years, I did the tut Teri gave us Rainy Afternoon. I used 9 and apparently importing brushes is completely different in PSP9 than earlier versions. Well after about one hour and checking help, then finding a tut about how to get the brushes to show up in the custom brush folder, I'm almost finished.
Anyway thank you Teri for the link, it got me to try something different. I will post it when I finish. By the way it is not nearly as good as yours.

I'm already stuck. Part 7.
"Click on your selection tool . Use the settings below."
That part I get.
"Invert your selection and hit your delete key. Deselect."
It doesn't tell you to make a selection. If so how big. Then it says "invert your selection" Do they mean to flip it?
I understand the next part where you make a circle, etc..
