| I know that it is totally unacceptable to post spam here, and I appreciate the efforts to repel spammers. So I'm asking in an effort to adhere to protocol, whether it is similarly unacceptable to mention another forum (not my site, and not a commercial site) that might be of interest to folks that frequent this thread? I'm just wondering what is and isn't acceptable because I absolutely want to play nice! |

| IMHO, in some cases it 'might' be fine, and in other cases not so fine. If you could think of it as similar to going to the Weight Watchers Forum, and posting a link to a recipe on the Jenny Craig Forum, then I would say, that it wasn't all right. On the Gardenweb garden forums, I know we are not permitted to link to (or make mention of) other gardening forums, though we can link to other gardening sites. Linking to other 'similar' forums could then result in the loss of membership (revenue) here, iykwim. Sue |
