Got a tough one for you

Denture adhesive. It's nearly $5/tube and doesn't last but a few days. Anyone have any frugal ideas for make at home or buying it cheaper?

I don't know of a substitute, but if it is only lasting a few days, you may be using too much.

How long ago did you get dentures? Perhaps your gums have shrunk, a common occurence. Do you have a liner in them? You may have to return and have the dentures refitted.

Dian, I still have my teeth - thank the Lord, but my Mom wore dentures. She liked the powder adhesive because it was not messy and it was cheap enough to use fresh after daily cleaning. She said it worked better that the stuff in the tube. Hope this helps you.
