Welcome merryelf, I don't normally order ornies on line, but a few years ago I ordered some pricely ones that were only available on a few websites, unfortunately they don't sell those particualr ornaments any more. There are quite a few places that do ornaments on line but none that I can personally say I worked with. I am sure there are others here who have ordered on line and will pop in to tell you.

I happened upon 4 footed dessert glass pcs while browsing @ Goodwill last yr ...for $1 each .... whoa, I grabbed those 'babies' smiling all the way to the check-out! Here they are displayed on a glass cake plate in my kitchen...I also added 2 beautiful glass ornaments w/silver stripes (you can see one in the front right glass) & 2 silver bird napkin rings: On this same counter (by my countertop stove) is this 'tin' I found @ Hobby Lobby a couple yrs ago ...using my 40% off coupon ~~ plus another 'chunky pottery snowman' ...did I say I just love this guys! ;-) The small blue crock I found in a consignment store a few yrs ago, too: Above this area kitchen area is my 'end cupboard' which I am always 'changing up' ... these 2 snowmen prints I just bought a few mos ago ... aren't they just adorable! I did buy these 'new' but the price was right! I'll still be adding a few vintage Christmas postcards to the black mirror hanging: You may have noticed that little shelf w/snowmen...here's a closer view... hubby made that shelf from old barnwood a long time ago... a few yrs back I painted it a creamy white. Can you tell I love snowmen!!! Ok, I've rattled on ... we sure have fun, don't we! TFLookin'! Jeanne S.

Dianne's link is the same one I was going to post, too. It seems to be one of the better ones. I'm just learning this, so I wouldn't feel comfortable teaching a class just yet. But doing a swap would be fun. Linda, you wouldn't even have to deal with the postcards, just swap addresses (like for Red's surprise your partner Christmas swap) and then each person could send directly to their partner. The postcards can be mailed without envelopes and should be taken to the post office and hand cancelled (with a letter stamp, 41 cents at the moment), but sometimes they want more for embellishments, etc. That would be a hassle for you to mail them all. Much easier for the swappers to just send them directly. Maybe a New Year's swap? I just think I'd be too booked up before Christmas. -_Amy

I got if from an earlier post. The site was: http://www.quiltbut.com/tabletopper.htm. I do my own variations. Finished another one but wrapped it before I took pictures. I only did crosshach in the center with the gold thread and quilted with gold. It was navy background with gold snowflacks, a christmas postcard print and the white holly I used above. I liked it the best so far. Have a couple more in the works. Jayne
