Saving money by shopping online - deals and rebates.

Ebay was my first experience shopping online and I've been hooked ever since, I've saved tons of money. Right now is a great time for ebay buyers due to all of the changes ebay has been making affecting sellers. I have honestly never been scammed on ebay either selling or buying. TIP: Using a credit card through Paypal is your best protection against scams.

When buying electronics I search locally and then go to a great site called Fatwallet to comparison shop. This site not only has members who find great deals (at major retailers) and post them, they also discuss each product in depth regarding their performance. I find this to be helpful since I'm not a techie and it enables me to make an educated purchase. Fatwallet is also great to find deals on items other than electronics. Fatwallet is not a retailer and you don't have to be a member to read the forums.

In 2006 I found and joined a free site which pays cash back for all of my online purchases, including ebay. The cash is paid to my Paypal account once a month. So not only am I saving money by shopping online but I save even more just by clicking through this site before shopping.
So far this year I've received over $500 in rebate cash.
This site is also not a retailer but you do have to be a free member to qualify for cash back.

You should take a look at Cheaptoday.com. Almost all their deals are at least 40% off or more, and they have everything from kids clothes to electronics.

Here is a link that might be useful: CheapToday.com
