penny pinching

Hi I have recently bought a house with a pool and hot tub and the long hall ways around the pool are long and dark . When I get off work it was hard to navigate. I was in a Walmart and found a few of the led night lights and they are dawn-to-dusk and they are perfect for the job and cost almost nothing.

Great idea... We enter our home through the garage into a dark laundry room (no window in the room) and have to cross the room to another closed door to the kitchen. Instead of turning the light on each time we went through the room, we installed a motion-activated LED light (a large nightlight), which also turns off automatically after a brief period of time if there isn't any "motion" present. It's enough light to do small tasks, like putting dirty clothes in the baskets, hanging a wet item on the drying rack, etc...

We loved this light so much we put one in the master bath (which also doesn't have a window). It's all the light you need to "stop-and-make-a-visit" without turning on all 7 lights in the room.

RE: penny pinching

When my kids started asking for night lights to go to the bathroom at night, I found some led light sensor night lights on sale at Lowe's on clearance for less than half price. Triple bonus. It always feels good to find something you need for less than you expect.
