Thank you all - they are definitely very me whatever that is. I actually had more of a color scheme going originally but somehow they have multiplied into every color and I like it. I do have more pastels in the front and hotter colors as you move behind the deck. The house is not really that big but it's spread out and has a lot of volume. I really like things rather neat if you can imagine that with all this disorder and I like to see a repetition down the garden of something that is starring at the moment - daffodils in a similar tone in the spring, then the peonies and iris, then the daylilies, later it's asters and phlox. You know the funny thing about that CindySunshine name is I totally made it up as I was registering on gardenweb out of nothing - but I am definitely a sunshine girl always have loved summer and sunshine. If you look at that first picture with the front borders, I am standing on the driveway - if you look thru the daylilies (and BTW that is "Cherry Chapeau" that is the brilliant burst of color in the foreground) past the flowers around the lamppost and then the line of big trees, that's where the orchard is - you drive up through it as you go up toward the house. If you turn to your left that's where the butterfly garden is that I posted earlier. We built the house 20 years ago - we literally crawled thru the brush and hacked things down to find that there was a lovely spot up here to build. I was thrilled to find the combination of trees in the background, but sunny areas around the house for my gardens. The ground was really not very good at all - we built it up mostly with just work, compost, mulch, weeding, weeding, weeding, weeding - sometimes I feel like I've spent half my life weeding - LOL. Here's the vegie garden a couple weeks ago before the corn got so tall... Quick view of the pond - I took this several weeks ago (notice the same gazing ball that is now engulfed in stuff in those shots this morning - I was worried at the time about the pedestel it stood on and whether I should paint it - like why bother - LOL. And finally behind the deck - I took this in the spring right after the japanese maples leafed out - my easiest least maintenance area of the garden - all I do is put a handful of fertilizer around them in the spring. They don't even ever get watered, hostas do great. Thank you all. :)

The tubing is 1/2" Zurn. The controls, valves I believe were a pre-packaged wirsbo that the HVAC installer put in. I fabricated my own heat transfer panels with flashing that I cut to length and pressed using a form made from a 1/2" piece of PVC screwed to a plank, with a "mating" plank that had 2 pieces of 1" furing strips screwed 5/8" apart. By simply placing a piece of flashing between the positive and negative forms, and standing on the stack, I was able to press a "U" shaped channel into the flashing stock. This was then stapled up to the bottom of the oak planks enclusing the PEX in the "U". It worked well. The flashing is sized to fill the entire joist bay from joist to joist. Then as said above, I put 3.5" fiberglass right up against the metal flashing. In terms of "barrier" do you mean the foam barrier that I put down between the playwood layer and the finished laminate? I used Unison 2 in 1. So your saying I can raise the floor temp a bit? thanks

A few more ....... This is Second Glance . An oldie but it glistens in the garden , when seen in a clump you do take a second look ! Starman's Quest I cannot believe how robust this plant is . I added it last season but didn't see any bloom . It put all it's energy into increase and robustness . This year it added some blooms What a great plant . Galaxy Explosion although putting out lots of blooms is half the height it normally is due to lack of rain . Bama Music is a soft pretty pink UF This little girl is Edie Would love to know who this one is .....given to me by a friend it is an unknown Gonna have to move this one it is right along a path and is taking over . This is Bandit Man A really lovely bloom .......Here is Linda Sierra . I have divided this and will continue to do so , so I can have it in numerous places in the garden. Just a little bit different . This one is Ruby Throat ....another really quick increaser .

Elizabeth, my comments were based on my experiences. Not too many years ago, I offered an old CRT large screen TV we'd decommissioned to the salvadoreño who does work in and around our house. He chuckled and said in half Spanish and half English that his extended family had pooled their money to buy a big screen TV at Costco for the men to watch futbol and for the evening shows for the women in the family. My last visit to the cable store was to return a settop TV box (after I'd switched to DISH). The people in front of me in line were modestly dressed Spanish speaking women who paid their bills in cash, using mostly singles and also coin change. When people are spending extended time at the counter because of the need to count and recount cash, it's not hard to see what's going on. As you said, you and most others pay these bills with autopay or another online means. Those who are illiterate, or who don't have the credentials to get a bank account, pay bills in cash. And such people are typically hard working folks of very modest means. That was what I saw.
